Rooms are approximately 280 square feet in area and have rich interiors
with facilities including CCTV, IDD telephones, mini-bars and individually
controlled air conditioning
The hotel's cuisine is renowned
for its taste and splendour. The coffee shop is finished in parquet and stone,
and sets the tone for relaxed dining. 
Laila
- overlooking the pool - offers typical, formal Indian dining. The bar Downing
Street is just right for the evenings entertainment.
Extensive conference & banquet facilities provide the ideal setting for
successful business events and prestigious private functions
The Howard Park Plaza is a fair mid-range hotel with a
convenient central location. The hotel has a long list of facilities, but in
truth, most of these would barely qualify and many are pocket sized although
well maintained and decent enough. The pool out the back is small but clean and
a nice touch. Rooms are pretty well maintained and cosy, a little dated in areas
but good for the price. The Howard Park staff are competent and helpful,
although there don't seem to be enough of them. Overall, despite one or two
little drawbacks, this is a fair hotel in an expensive town that relatively
speaking represents value for money
